Such a lovely house and a lovely couple, Andy and Sue. This was a beautiful house and area. We enjoyed our stay here and we would definitely go back.
We were visiting family in nearby Matlock so we wanted somewhere local, nice and cheap to stay overnight.
It was a lovely big house with a private drive, so you had somewhere to park your car as the house was in a cul-de-sac. The garden was full of home grown vegetables and fruit and overlooked a large field.
We would recommend our hosts, they were very interesting people. In Budapest, we only briefly met our host as she did have other properties but for this one it is their home and we stayed in the spare bedroom.
Our hosts were retired and traveled quite a bit, especially on diving holidays. They usually have a camper caravan so if that was there I am not to sure where you could park, but I’m sure everyone could fit on the drive someway.
Our hosts even invited us for tea, as they were having a BBQ which we joined them at later for a few drinks. They say that that is there favorite bit about having guests stay. Andy and Sue prefer to get to know their guests whereas some hosts are not that bothered.
Andy and Sue have a lot of good reviews on Air B and B and have been on the site for a few years. They are usually booked as they have their own regulars who stay with them every other week.
